Aztar Crew Pulls Swimmers From River
We have some overnight news to tell you about. For the second time this week, rescue crews are called to the Ohio River to search for missing boaters.
The call came in just after 2:30, about the same time the storms were approaching the Evansville-area.
A friend of the two boaters tells police they anchored their pontoon boat near the LST 325 and decided to go swimming.
But after a few minutes, the friend lost track of the swimmers and called for help.
Shortly after rescue crews arrived, police got a call from Casino Aztar security, saying they fished the two out of the water near the casino.
Both appeared to be in pretty good shape. |
