Barney Frank says casinos good for economy

Congressman Barney Frank says Massachusetts should open its doors to casinos.
Frank says he’s in favor of letting people gamble if they want to and believes it’s not the job of government to tell people what to do with their money.
The Democrat also says casinos would help bring in good jobs for workers who have lost manufacturing jobs.
Frank says he’s not impressed by what he called his well-to-do liberal friends telling lower income people that they shouldn’t have casino jobs. He says he’d like to see one of the casinos in his district in Southeastern Massachusetts.
Frank says the main reason to allow casino gambling is that people like to do it.
Governor Patrick is pushing a plan to allow three resort style casinos in Massachusetts.
