WHAT: Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, the largest employer in Biloxi, will
reopen its doors for business August 29, 2006 following a
symbolic employee processional at 10 a.m. In addition to
employing 3,800 Mississippians, the opening will have an
immediate impact on the local economy while simultaneously
helping to revitalize Biloxi tourism.

For this significant occasion, uniformed Beau Rivage employees
will parade up the main drive to the porte cochere for a
ceremonial "door opening" as they take steps to bring a sense of
normalcy to their lives: going back to work. Along both sides of
the processional, their families and members of the community
will line the streets to support them. Employees will be
welcomed by U.S. Senator Trent Lott; Mississippi Governor Haley
Barbour; Biloxi Mayor AJ Holloway; Terry Lanni, MGM MIRAGE
Chairman and CEO; Bobby Baldwin, President and CEO of Mirage
Resorts; and George Corchis, President of Beau Rivage Resort &
Casino. The resort will open to guests immediately following the
ceremony.

MEDIA: Satellite services will be accessible onsite for crews requiring
immediate feeds or for live shots. Media accommodations are
available at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino beginning August 27.
Media credentials are available beginning August 21 at the Beau
Rivage Media Center (228-386-7000) 1/2 block north of Beau Rivage
(123 Calliavet Street), and are required for property preview
tours and interviews. Please pick up credentials in advance.
Community press conference to follow immediately in the Beau
Rivage convention level Azalea ballroom.

All media are welcome. Please confirm attendance and satellite
needs in advance.
