Just wanted to take a poll on other people's thoughts and experiences. I work at a casino. I also PLAY (often). Now just as an example, say we are playing a quarter slot machine. You start out betting 3. It doesn't seem to be hitting. So you drop your bet to 2. Now it's hitting. Or you start out with a 1 bet. It is hitting. So you build you money up and go to a 2 bet. Now the damn thing won't hit! You get the idea. Do you think it is a product of our imagination, or have lots of other people found this same thing to be true? If this has happened to you, what do YOU think is the reason?
Also-- ever been in a casino and can't find one damn machine to pay? I know I have. I also know from working in a casino, I hear our guests (not just 1 or 2) moaning about "they really have the machines tightened up tonight! I haven't done any good since I got here!" Just the other night I was Playing and next to me was a lady that had been there most of the day. It was now about 8PM. She said she had done really good up until about an hour earlier, and now she couldn't get the machines to do anything! Sadly I had to agree with her. I had only been there about and hour, but I gotta say, the machines sure didn't want to hit.
Anyway fellow slot players, I just wondered about your thoughts on these things. I'll be anxious to see your comments. By the way I'm in the USA, and the only casinos in this state are the Indian owned casinos.
