Gambling news from http://www.theonlinewire.com/

NASCAR is one of the biggest sports out there when considering the fan following. Going to a race and seeing cars running at over 100mph can be one of the most exciting sporting events to attend. For years, fans have participated in small local "pools" on who will win the race, and there are even season long contests out there where you pick a different driver every week, and the person with the most total driver points at the end of the season wins. NASCAR fans have found a whole new realm to create excitement in the sport, online gambling.

Players that think they know their stuff can bet any number of ways on NASCAR races. Many online sport books have even turned to offering exacta and Trifecta wagers just like you find at your local horseracing tracks. You can of course keep it simple, and just bet on who you think will win the race, but for me, I prefer to go with driver match-ups.

When placing a driver match-up wager, you are going head to head. The driver you choose to place a wager on only has to finish in a higher position than one other driver. These wagers typically have a money-line attached to them, so it's not unusual to find a lot of value in these bets.

On a recent race, I even found a match-up of Jeff Gordon vs. Denny Hamlin. In that match-up, I wagered $100 that Gordon would finish higher than Hamlin. The $100 risked paid $160. Gordon actually ended up winning the race, so it was easy money for me.

You can check out all the different betting options at many of the different online sport books, but for NASCAR, I prefer to use BetonSports.com (see Web site here).
It seems to me that NASCAR is all for this new realm of excitement. While they may not come out and openly say they are, how else can you explain the areas of NASCAR’s website that go into handicapping information such as driver match-ups and track histories that include how drivers have finished in the past.

All great sports have one thing in common, people love to gamble on the outcomes! NASCAR will reach new limits and see growth like never before with these exciting new additions.
