Bodog Holding Pre-Super Bowl $200K Tourney
Site Is Adding Another $100,000 to Its Sunday Tourney Jan. 28
The weekend before the Super Bowl is maybe the quietest weekend of the year for football fans. This year, Bodog.com is going to change it.
To celebrate the Super Bowl match-ups, Bodog.com is adding $100,000 to its guaranteed Sunday tourney on Jan. 28. This tourney already had a guarantee of $100,000, so players can play for a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000 for the normal $109 buy in. The winner will win more than $45,000.
Bodog is also adding three opportunities for players to use their poker points at a special rate to compete for $200,000 tournament buy ins. These "$200K Special PTS Qualifier" will offer extra value as the T$ that are paid out can be used to buy in to any scheduled tournament Bodog offers - not only the upcoming $200,000 on Jan. 28, but also for the regularly scheduled $70,000, $50,000 and $30,000 guaranteed events.
The qualifying tourneys will take place Thursday, Jan 25, Friday, Jan. 26 and Sat. Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. ET. They cost 400 PTS and a $109 entry will be awarded for every 10 players who enter. Each tournament is limited to 500 players. Registration begins two hours before each event.
