Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announcedtoday that its casino operations resumed at approximately 7am this morningafter being closed Wednesday, July 5, following a state-mandated shutdownof gaming operations in Atlantic City.
"We are pleased that the New Jersey legislators have reached a resolutionand that gaming operations at Borgata are once again fully operational,"said Larry Mullin, President and Chief Operating Officer. "Our guests canenjoy a complete gaming, entertainment, and hospitality experienceincluding our recently opened $200 million dollar expansion featuringrestaurants, casino space, and an 85-table poker room."
Additionally, Borgata will give away $250,000 in cash today and tomorrowand will continue the Borgata Summer Poker Open tournament which runsthrough July 20th as announced prior to the state shutdown.
