Borough resident could now be ‘sitting on a fortune’
National Lottery players in Wandsworth should check their old tickets as a prize of £86,110 has gone unclaimed in the borough.
The owner of the winning ticket matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the lottery draw on Saturday, June 24.
The winning numbers were 9, 14, 21, 23, 39, 44 and the bonus number was 19. The lucky ticket holder has until 5.30pm on December 21 to come forward and make their claim.
If the winning ticket is not claimed before the deadline, the prize money and the interest will go to good causes.
A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're desperate to find this ticket holder and unite them with their winnings this life-enhancing prize could really help to make a few dreams reality for someone out there.
"We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding.
"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.
"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their prize in time."
To jog Lotto players' memories, the Lake House starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock had just opened at the cinema on June 24 while Nelly Furtado was topping the charts with Maneater.
Closer to home, Wandsworth Cycling Campaign took part in the LoveYr Bike festival and audiences at the Putney Arts Centre were watching a performance of Blue Orange.
Anyone who thinks they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery line on 0845 910 0000. |
