Bayou Promotions and the Coushatta Casino have pulled out all the stops for their next event billed as “Knockouts at Coushatta XII”. The event is set to take place July 8, 2006 at the Coushatta Casino and Resort in Kinder, LA. And for the second straight show former world champion and Houston, Texas native Raul “El Diamante” Marquez (36-3) will be featured in the main event. He will face Darrell Woods (24-10) of St. Petersburg, Florida. In 2005 Woods’ scored his biggest win as a professional with a 12 round split decision victory over Emmett Linton (33-4-2). In Marquez’s last appearance in Kinder he won beat a very game Miguel Hernandez via 9th round TKO.
