Someone left a copy of the casino's newsletter and I got to read it. On the front page is a "Word from the General Manager" - here is what it said to the employees -
"I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication in 2009. The time has flown by and the year is almost over. Remember our business depends on excellent customer service. We want our customers for life. Every customer we gain tells another. Thank you for your service. Michael Fisher, General Manager".

Sounds like a lot of care went into his statement - and it sounds like it came from a 5th grader. From what I hear from employees this GM guy is so full of himself and is next to invisible. Employees say he doesn't even hold any meetings with them, just his managers. He never lets them know what is going on / no progress reports to the staff / just sits in his corner office and once in a while comes out to smoke or clean off a deli table.

So that's what the Tribe gets for paying him as much as they do? An occasional table cleaner?

Does he even know what the community thinks of the casino that he is suppose to run?

Tell him what you think of his casino. Maybe if enough people comment about what they see / feel / stomach problems from the Buffet food - the tribal heads may get involved and either make him do his job or get someone who will run the casino as it should be.
