Casino Rouge Supports Responsible Gaming Education Week; Mayor Kip Holden Appears in Public Service Announcements to Remind Area Residents to Always Gamble Responsibly
BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 2006--To highlight year-round efforts of promoting responsible gaming to employees and guests, Casino Rouge will support the 9th Annual Responsible Gaming Education Week, Monday, August 7 to Friday, August 11. This event is held nationally by the American Gaming Association (AGA), the casino industry's trade association.
In support of the campaign, Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden appears in radio and television public service announcements to encourage local residents to be responsible and to get educated when choosing to gamble. He reminds anyone who may be struggling with a gambling problem to call the toll-free hotline 1-877-770-STOP where trained counselors are available 24 hours a day to lend a hand.
Also, Casino Rouge will promote the week with radio and newspaper ads, outdoor boards as well as internal events for the 800 employees who will be wearing yellow ribbons to remind patrons to "Be Responsible. Get Educated."

Self Eviction
Casino Rouge's commitment to Responsible Gaming goes beyond simply posting help information. The casino also works to aid any person who has an admitted gambling problem from being contacted through direct marketing or from casino play.
Anyone who wishes to "self-evict" from the casino can contact the Security department at Casino Rouge. The person will be required to take a photo and complete an Eviction Acknowledgment Form to be banned from the casino and excluded from direct mail contact.
