Casino ban follows charge

A BRISBANE man has been temporarily banned from all Queensland casinos and TAB outlets after being charged with robbing a female casino patron.
The 25-year-old faced Brisbane Magistrates' Court today charged with one count of robbery with violence for an incident at the Treasury Casino on June 18.
The man from Loganlea, in Brisbane's south, was granted bail but was also banned from all casinos and TAB facilities until his next court appearance in two weeks, the Nine Network reported.
The man went to police last night after the casino released closed circuit television footage of the alleged assault to the media. |
