Casino betting on a December finish

RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Construction on a new Las Vegas-style casino complex outside Riverton is on track to finish December 14.
Casino CEO Jim Conrad says it will take a month or two to get the hundreds of games set up.
A three-week grand opening celebration for the roughly 46,000-square-foot Wind River Casino is being planned to begin in March.
The opening celebration will feature a party every night at the new casino.
The new casino is just south of the current business location on Wyoming 789.
Besides slot machines and other casino games, the new casino also will include a smoke-free gambling area, a large room where bands will perform, a deli and a full-service restaurant. |
