The four Kansas City-area casinos' collective revenue fell less than 1 percent in July, and their combined customer count decreased 4 percent from July 2005, according to statistics the Missouri Gaming Commission released Thursday.
The Kansas City market as a whole had revenue of $60.7 million in July, down from $60.9 million in the same month last year, the agency said in a release. The casinos reported 1.4 million customers in July, down from 1.5 million last year.
Argosy Casino reported revenue of $13.8 million, up 11 percent from $12.4 million last year. The casino had 199,582 customers, up 5 percent from 189,917 last year.
Ameristar Casino & Hotel Kansas City reported revenue of $22.1 million, down 4 percent from $23.1 million last year. The casino had 752,930 customers, down 8 percent from 818,364 last year.
Isle of Capri Casino reported revenue of $7.6 million, down 4 percent from $8 million last year. The casino had 174,376 customers, down less than 1 percent from 174,800 last year.
Harrah's North Kansas City Casino & Hotel reported revenue of $17.2 million, down 1.5 percent from $17.5 million last year. The casino had 287,297 customers, down 2 percent from 294,617 last year.
