Through Friday, the casinos are promoting activities that address disordered and underage gambling and the importance of responsible gaming practices. In Iowa, more than 20 million visitors attend a casino each year. Research conducted by the Iowa Department of Public Health shows that less than 1 percent of people who visit Iowa casinos have a gambling problem.
