Cherokee Nation Enterprises is buying more property around its Catoosa casino.

This time, it's purchased Mayberry's Sunmart Truck Stop at 193rd East Avenue and I-44. Its right across the street from the casino and isn't open any more.

The Cherokee Nation says the purchase will help them control access into the casino, manage traffic flow, and improve the appearance of the casino.

Cherokee Nation Enterprises also owns what used to be the Super 8 motel next door and Speedy's convenience store.
