Council Bluffs' Ameristar Casino considers expansion
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa Expansion plans could be in the works at the Ameristar Casino in Council Bluffs.
Officials say no decision has been made, but they're considering options to expand the gaming space, restaurants and other features.
Another Council Bluffs casino, the Horseshoe Casino, underwent an 84 (m) million dollar expansion a year ago, and now tops the state in gross gaming receipts.
Council Bluffs casinos, which also includes Harrah's Casino, have posted about a-third of the 860 (m) million of the state's gross gaming receipts for the current fiscal year. |
