Coverage of the WPT Legends of Poker Starts Saturday
CardPlayer.com Will Feature Exclusive Live Updates, Chip Counts, and Videos From Los Angeles

After a slow August, the poker world will converge this Saturday at the Bicycle Casino for the World Poker Tour Legends of Poker event. Card Player will be there to cover all the action from the felt as the new official media partner of the WPT.

CardPlayer.com will provide exclusive live tournament reporting from the $10,000 buy-in event. The coverage will feature live updates, chip counts, photos, and videos from the event, as well as daily recaps for a summary of each day’s action. The coverage will also feature hand-for-hand updates from the final table.

Day 1A of the tournament begins on Saturday, August 25 and will be followed by Day 1B on Sunday, August 26. The remaining field will join together for day two on Monday, August 27. All preliminary days of the tournament will begin at 2 p.m. PDT. The remaining field will play down to a final television table of six during days three and four on August 28 and 29. The final table will take place on Thursday, August 30, and will begin at 5 p.m. PDT.

The tournament coverage teams from Card Player and the WPT will be working together to provide the most in-depth tournament coverage on the web. The first major tournament after the World Series of Poker will draw most of the top professionals to Los Angeles and will make for an exciting tournament field.

Things are heating up in the Card Player Player of the Year race as well, as David Pham, Jared Hamby, James Van Alstyne, and Bill Edler have started to close the gap on the once-invincible J.C. Tran. All this will make for an exciting stop on the tournament circuit, so be sure to cruise your browser to CardPlayer.com this Saturday, where you can catch all the action.
