Rock and Roll Hall of Famer (1988) Charlie Thomas was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on April 7, 1937. He was a member of a group known as the Five Crowns in 1958 along with Ben Earl Nelson (later known as Ben E. King), who were being managed by Lover Patterson.

While the The Five Crowns met with little commercial success, they enjoyed local popularity and that is why they were on the bill at the Apollo Theater in New York City in 1958 when George Treadwell fired his famous group, The Drifters. It was Charlie Thomas' voice that Treadwell heard and hastily recruited the Crowns to become the new Drifters.

Lover Patterson once said that Charlie Thomas' voice was one that the world would enjoy forever, and he was right!

The new Drifters first release in 1959 was a song called "There Goes My Baby". This was the beginning of what is generally acknowledged as the Golden Years of the Drifters.

In 1988, Charlie Thomas, along with other original members, Doc Green, Ben E. King and Elsbery Hobbs were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.

Showtime Aruba brings together legendary peformer Tony Pace, Johnny Pizzi and the Showtime Aruba band to offer a unique night you won't see anywhere else.

What sets Tony apart from the rest is who he is and what he can do. He's been compared to Sammy Davis and so many others, but here's something you may not know: most likely any show you see with Tony is improvised and never scripted.

Once you hear his voice, most say that they'd be happy just listening to him sing all night. His comedic timing and material has been hailed as hilarious by people like Craig Nier (Owner of Catch a Rising Star) Victoria Jackson, Cathy Ladman, Pat Cooper and so many more. To paraphrase Vin Di Bona (Executive Producer of Americas Funniest Videos), "I've never seen anyone with the ability to work an audience like Tony Pace. He's a master at audience involvement."

Johnny Pizzi has been doing standup comedy for 16 years on the comedy club circuit. He has traveled coast-to-coast doing clubs, colleges and theaters. He is not only one of Boston's Premier Comics but also an accomplished Magician as well. Johnny's a member of The Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.) and The International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M.). He specializes in Mentalism and does Close-up magic as well. Recently Johnny has combined some funny mentalism into his act and if your not paying attention he'll steal the fillings out of your teeth.
