Eric Goodell, Tom Jackson and Jim Taggart Jr. latest to win 100 races this season at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs

Eric Goodell, Tom Jackson and Jim Taggart Jr. became the latest drivers to record 100 wins each during the 2007 harness racing season at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
Goodell has been one of the hot drivers at the Northeastern Pennsylvania racetrack along with Kevin Sizer, Jackson and Taggart Jr.
Tim Tetrick, North America's leading driver and the top driver at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, had 141 wins through September 25 with Mike Simons following with 136. Goodell follows with 107 victories while Taggart Jr. had 107 and Jackson's 100.
Goodell, a newcomer to the racing wars at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, had one of his finest days ever in his career when he collected six victories last Saturday. The 34-year-old Goodell won all three of the open handicap races that September 22nd afternoon.
He drove Anglebrook to a 1:50.2 victory in the $20,000 open handicap pace and also won the $16,000 open handicap pace with Eckstrom. Ross Croghan trains both Anglebrook and Eckstrom.
Real Mystical was Goodell's third open handicap pace winner of the day and that race carried a purse of $15,000. James Ray trains Real Mystical.
Tetrick, Simons, Goodell and Taggart Jr. all have gone over the $1 million in purses this season at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
