I got my first Royal Flush the other night with some of my friends! Sure, I didn't win a huge pot or anything, but the Royal Flush was just one of the coolest things to have. It takes so much luck to land one of those. |

You've got that right, I just knew that I was going to win that hand when I got all the cards. People had a feeling that I had it too, that is why the pot wasn't too big. But the people that I did go up against are ones that I bluffed out before. So, they were skeptical that I actually had it. |

Congratulations on that Royal Flush! It doesn't matter if they win you a lot of money or not...they are just so beautiful to behold, lol. I've gotten them playing video poker but I've never gotten one playing table poker. One of these days! |

It must have been so exciting to get that Royal Flush! I have gotten straight flushes before but never a Royal. In all of the poker games I've played, I think I've only seen someone else get a Royal Flush once. Congratulations! |

Congratulations on this! That has to be one of the most exciting things in poker, ever to have. I mean, I had the hand a few times before, but I have never had the chance to have someone else go in with me. They always knew I had it, just by guessing. |

The trick to playing with a Royal Flush is to let the other players think that you are undecided about your hand by betting low, hopefully encouraging them to raise you. Give them false confidence! Take your time before placing that low bet...that way they may think that you were considering folding. You know that nobody can beat you, so even if that strategy doesn't work out you certainly aren't going to lose anything. |

Heh, I guess I am really bad at it, everytime I get a good hand everyone folds. I try just checking / calling to the end round and when everyone has enough to lose, I raise. I guess that is suspicious behavior or I need to lay down more bets when my hands aren't so good. |

just noticed that. TyreseBurn welcome to the board!
