First World Golden Gloves Championships coming to Grand Casino Hinckley on Nov. 16-17

HINCKLEY, Minn. – Amateur fighters from Ireland, Great Britain, Puerto Rico, and the United States will square off in the ring at the First World Golden Gloves Championship on Friday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov.17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Casino Hinckley Events & Convention Center.

Admission prices for the Friday night bouts are $35 for ringside seats and $15 for general seating, Saturday night bouts are $45 for ringside seats and $20 for general seating. About the First World Golden Gloves Championship

The First World Golden Gloves Championship is an amateur boxing event sponsored by the Golden Gloves Association of America, hosted by Upper Midwest Golden Gloves, and sanctioned by USA Boxing.

On Nov. 16, there will be 22 bouts between world-class senior amateur boxers from Ireland, Great Britain, Puerto Rico, and the United States. The winners from Friday will compete in the championship on Saturday, Nov. 17, to determine the First World Golden Glove Amateur Champion in 11 weight classes. The champion in each weight class will be presented with a championship belt.
