Agreement offers Foxwoods Ultimate Race Book Fans Exclusive Access to International Horse Racing Excitement for the first time in the United States
Foxwoods Resort Casino today announced an exclusive 5-year agreement to simulcast horse racing events from the world renowned international horse racing organization, the Hong Kong Jockey Club. This ground-breaking agreement with Las Vegas Dissemination Company allows horse racing fans in the United States to enter into pari- mutuel commingled wagering on all races featured at the Hong Kong Jockey Club for the first time ever. This new partnership will allow patrons to participate in very significant prize pools that could potentially pay out millions of dollars. Initially the betting will concentrate on standard win and "place" betting and "small exotics." Foxwoods has obtained the exclusive rights in Connecticut to feature these races in their Ultimate Race Book. As one of the world's largest horse racing organizations, this alliance offers Foxwoods customers exclusive access to some of the world's most thrilling international horse races in real time. Bets will be placed through the Las Vegas Dissemination Company, the only approved and authorized hub to receive the Hong Kong Jockey Club signal in the United States. The first races will be simulcast starting September 2007.
