Well yea man , it should be fun to those who can SEE it as fun ....It can also be deadly as well ........lettin miners ( gamble ) is a mere intro to this whacky world ....( maybe a weird term of mine ) Yet, see what we have now ...the 100's an 1000's of bingo halls in this country...where they aint nothin wrong WITH em at a glance ( some for charity or some good cause or the other ) .......we have to ask some thin here... ( while talin that glance )......Is it really so much a social gathering ..as it is a person layin down $$ hopein for the big pay off |

Hey good to see you again Aslan and if I haven't said it before, thanks for signing up here.
is that it's probably a little bit of both. Good excuse for to go out and be social for a good cause.... and if you hit paydirt, that's even better. |

I would imagine it would depend on location too. I think here in Jacksonville, the people to go (and there seems to be a bingo parlor on every corner!) are pretty serious about it. I have a friend who is Filipina who lives in a town about a hour north of us and she and her friends go quite a bit. I KNOW they are serious about winning, not just socializing. |
