Former Buffalo Mayor Jimmy Griffin says the Seneca Nation of Indians, and the City of Buffalo should set aside their differences over a parcel of Fulton Street, and reach an agreement to allow construction of a full-size casino in downtown Buffalo.
Griffin shared his thoughts on WBEN's political program, "Hardline with Hardwick" Sunday. A longtime advocate of downtown development, Griffin criticized the city for calling off talks with the Seneca Nation, saying the offer to sell Fulton Steet is just.
"Its going to be (sold) for $630,000. Where the hell can you pick up $640,000 for a portion of a street, Griffin said.
