Trying to put together a handicapping contest. It would be a 25CGP per entry contest where players place imaginary win and place bets on 6 random chosen races the winners get 80%, and second get 20%, let me know who is interested. I will post rules and such after I clear this with the boss if I get any interest.

Rules for WCD Handicapping Contest:

The entry fee is 25 CGP's, (thats 3 posts in the forum so not a big risk)

The Contest will consist of 6 races from Churchill Downs, Belmont, Pimlico and Arlington Park. The races will be posted the day before the races go off so you can handicap them. (Usually Friday for Saturday)

Each contestant will place an imaginary $2 bet for one horse to Win or Place. Relults will be posted in real time here on the site. As long as you submit your horse prior to the post time of each race your selection will count.

Contestants will TRANSFER 25 CGP's to me I will then forward the total prize pool to Bernie (bern PM me on this) to monitor and then one of us will pay the winners.

The Prize Pool: 1st get 80% og of CGP's collected and 2nd gets 20%.

This is an interesting idea Steve, I may even look into automating the buy-ins and such. Would be neat to even award the winners automatically.

yes it would but I didnt know (should have) that you guys could get that into play, lets just hope it generates some interest if not now than in the future and I stole the idea from a website my dad plays at but I didnt violate anycopyrights or anything, and besides we can run any contests we want, as long as they arent TM or copywritten, correct?

It will be fine, just like any website can hold a random drawing, or have online slot machines -- we can have a handicapping contest.
