Poker Royalty, the poker marketing agency, and the Heartland Poker Tour have formed an exclusive global sales and marketing alliance centered around the title sponsorship of the national poker tour. Poker Royalty will work closely with the Heartland Poker Tour across all areas of their business, including global sponsorship sales and event development.
“We’re very pleased about our newly formed relationship with Poker Royalty. Without question, Poker Royalty is highly respected in the poker world and they’ve done a tremendous job melding poker and corporate America.” said Todd Anderson, General Partner of the Heartland Poker Tour.
The Heartland Poker Tour is a series of 10 poker events that are edited into 20 hour-long television shows which air every week on TV stations coast to coast in the United States. Unlike other poker shows, the Heartland Poker Tour is focused on giving regular people a chance to play poker on a televised stage.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for a ‘dot net’ poker site because of the tremendous exposure the Heartland Poker Tour provides on cable, network and satellite television, as well as their unique ability to build a database and acquire new players,” said James Sullivan, Executive Vice President of Poker Royalty.
The 1st episode of the Heartland Poker Tour aired on October 1st, 2005 on four stations (Minneapolis, Fargo, Duluth and Chicago) covering 6 million TV households. As of July 1st, the Heartland Poker Tour is available in over 45 million households spanning the country. It is available nationwide via broadcast, cable, and satellite TV and is aired multiple times a week in many markets. |
