I had hand surgery so cannot elaborate at the moment just wanted to say HI.

Thats a pic of my talented son racing. He is 16 and has been racing since he was 5. Great kid he is so pround of him. Watch for him someday he is going to Nascar!

How in the world has he been racing since age 5, Chip?? You mean, HE was driving the race car when he was only 5 years old??
I bet he'll be a great driver when he gets his official license at age 16, huh?
Tell him we all say Happy Birthday! (Tomorrow, right?)

Hi sunspun,
He has been racing go karts, starting in Pee Wee, very slow small karts, graduating to an open large kart, to a 1/4 midget kart (Mom felt better now as he is was now in a great seat belt/roll bar etc car whew!)
Then to this Legend car whick is 10 1/2 feet long, he races asphalt in New York and Virginia, against all ages. He is very good, and got a partial sponser this year for Old Dominion Track in Virginia, I would put the website for his racing but don't know yet where I can do it. So yes he was racing very young, and was driving, and racing in our yard at 3 with blocks on the gas pedal. He is talented. There are approx 30 cars in each race, he gets anywhere from win to 10th usually no worse than 7th place finish. He got rookie of the year in his class at Chemung Speedrome in NY, last year. Fan favorite (considering how far away not many family or friends can come, this was a great achievement also) and 5th in points his first year racing the Legend car, and it is pretty fast racing and first year driving stick. As for his driving ask me at the end of the month lol.
