Horseshoe Celebrates Labor Day with Legendary $250,000 Blackjack Tournament II

Horseshoe Casino & Hotel is bringing back its huge, unprecedented Legendary $250,000 Blackjack Tournament II over Labor Day weekend, Friday, August 31 – Monday, September 3. Horseshoe Casino has long been known for having the best odds with the highest limits. They are out to prove it with this tournament, which is one of the largest tournaments Tunica has ever seen. This will mark the second $250,000 Blackjack tournament Horseshoe has hosted in just four months.
Guests can enter this huge Labor Day tournament with a buy-in of $1,000. Registration will be at the Bluesville promotions counter inside Horseshoe casino. Participants receive a $100 chip for registering at the early bird registration on Friday, August 31 from 5 -10 p.m. Saturday, September 1 guests can register from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tournament play begins Sunday, September 2 at 9 a.m. and will conclude with the semi-finals beginning Monday, September 3 at 9 a.m.
The tournament is limited to 250 participants. The top 45 players between the combined two rounds will receive $500 and be entered into the semi-finals. Four wild card winners will be entered into the semi-finals as well bringing the total to 49 participants in the semi-finals. The winner from each table will advance to the finals. The final 7 players will split the prize money as follows:
1st place - $100,000
2nd place = $50,000
3rd place = $25,000
4th place = $20,000
5th place = $15,000
6th place = $10,000
7th place = $7,500
