I was just wondering how often all of you get the opportunity to go to the casinos. Unfortunately, I don't live in a state where casino gambling is legal, although it is being considered (I'm in PA). I try to visit the casinos at least once a year, if I happen to be travelling.

I try to visit a casino as often as possible. I love the atmosphere a casino provides, it is so friendly around here. There is the occasional jerk, but otherwise this area is perfect for people. I hate traveling somewhere I don't know, and everyone is a jerk.

I live in a very rural area in California but when I go out (either to the coast or to the Bay area) I will usually stop in at a casino on the way there and back. Usually Rohling Hills Casino, San Pablo Casino or on the Coast I'll go to Blue Lake Casino (the nice new casino!)

Savier, what area do you live in? It's great that you are in a casino town that has a nice environment. I'm sure all of us run into a jerk occasionally while gambling, but for the most part I've always been around happy, friendly people too.

I visit pechanga once a month! I like to go for at least 3hr just to have a little fun before it's time to go back to work. It helps take my mind off things. In the mean time I play online for about 1hr everyday but I can't wait for that one day in the month!

Isn't Pechanga in California - ?? If so, I'll give you 500cg for a picture next time you go there (I'd like two if possible!!)

Not nearly often enough. Right now we're barely making ends meet, so I can't justify going to a casino with money I cannot afford to lose. Hopefully my husband's and my financial situation will be improving in the next few months and I might actually get to go once in awhile agian.

Well, when I lived in Memphis, I usually went to Tunica at least once a month, sometimes more frequently. When we lived in San Diego, we visited the Indian casinos there about once a month as well. But I loved driving up to Vegas. It was quite a drive and I was too stupid to get in the plane for the 45 minute ride there.

Now we are in North Carolina and have a two year old. I think in the past two years, we went to Tunica once when we conned the grandparents into babysitting. I do miss going though. I try to feed my addiction by playing online, but there is nothing like being in a real casino!

I go to casinos almost everyday, its always fun to see the atmospheres different casinos have. Whenever I get a feeling of gambling I just holler some friends and we all go and try our luck on different things, and get some free food too while we're at it.

When I worked in the casino towns in Colorado - free food and free drinks - I was all about it. Video Poker most of the time (to avoid thinking after work) and a few drinks always hit the spot. I think the life of a casino employee can often be from a fairly buzzed perspective ... not that I'm a big drinker, but something about the casinos does make booze taste better to me
