Hello everyone. As you see from my title, I do have a sense of humor.

My name is Marsha, but I'm known lots of places as Eyes Only. Long story behind the name, I won't bore you with the details. But, it did come from the old TV Show "Dark Angel".

I'm married to the greatest man on the planet. We're fortunate enough to be childless. Don't get me wrong, I love kids... other people's kids... other people who will take the little darlings with them when they leave. We do, however, love animals. We have two dogs, Socks and Shelby, and a blue parakeet named Delaney (he was named after one of the kids from our website who was killed last summer in a car/bicycle accident).

My husband and I have had a videogame forum for about 4 years now. So that takes up a bit of our free time.

I love to play poker (when finances permit), and slots. My favorite casinos were in Michigan (where we used to live). I've not yet had a chance to visit the casinos here in Kansas City, but I hope to get to do that eventually.

That's about it I suppose. If I forgot anything, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the welcome y'all. I put GE's url in the website as you guys suggested. Lots of great people over there, of all ages. Be sure to check out our Memorial page if you do make it over to GE. It's the saddest thing when a kid dies. And, we've lost two members in our 4 years. One of cancer, and the other in an accident.

If you want details about my screen name, well... Eyes Only was the secret identity a guy on the show Dark Angel used to broadcast news about "the bad guys" any further explanation of that would just take forever. The two seasons are out on dvd, you should definitely rent it. My reasoning behind choosing the name was, when my husband started our site, I didn't really know much about videogames, or about forums for that matter. I told him I'd help him out, but odds are I'd never post. I'd be the eyes of the forum. He said if you want to be eyes only that's fine. So... considering the fan I was of the show, the name kinda stuck. Told you it was boring details. But, as you've probably guessed, I didn't stay quiet for very long. LOL. Imagine me on a forum and never posting... LOL. That would be like putting Paris Hilton in a room full of mirrors and her never stopping to admire herself. Just can't happen.

So, as you see, I like to post. I guess 4 years as an admin brought me out of my shell.

Hehehe sounds good to me, My name is Cathy, as a kid they called me "Chatty Cathy" (I still have nightmares! okay, not really, never cared much either way :P ) I rarely ever shuddup, in real life or online! I'm always thinking atleast three things at once, so I LOVE the internet, it's not so obvious when your own thoughts interupt, and you realize 2 minutes into a conversation that you are no longer listening! You just scroll up! Interupting is also more pc on the net, I HATE waiting for my turn to speak! I can have three or four conversations at once online, and 2-3 forums open at the same time catchin up on everything I am interested in at once, and somewhere, it is ALWAYS my turn to talk! (because it really is all about me .. isnt it? ;) )

Marsha, I love the story behind your screen name. I never watched Dark Angel either, but now I wish I had. I guess it was a real favorite with people. I'll have to take a look at your forum, it sounds great. Besides gambling, I am a video game nut. Yep, although I now have two grown children and a young granddaughter, I still love to sit down and play a good video game. Welcome to this forum...I hope we get to see a lot of your posts, I'm sure they'll always be entertaining.
