KENOSHA, Wis. A judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed against a Kenosha casino developer.
N-I-I J-I-I Entertainment sued Dennis Troha, claiming he violated a no-compete clause in his new venture to build a tribal casino at Dairyland Greyhound Park.
N-I-I tried to develop the failed Paradise Key casino at Dairyland in the late 1990s. Troha was a one-time shareholder in N-I-I.
He's now the local developer in the Menominee Nation's attempt to develop a casino at Dairyland.
Racine County Judge Stephen Simanek yesterday sided with Troha, who argued he never personally signed a no complete clause agreement and that there's currently nothing for him to compete against. |
