Keeneland Blastoff 12/05/2007 Fans will have a weekly chance to win $1,000 in the “Keeneland Blastoff” contest. Each week, players must select a horse to place 1st – 4th on Wednesday, 1st – 3rd on Thursday, 1st – 2nd on Friday, and 1st on Saturday in designated races. On Sunday, remaining entrants must choose a winner in any Keeneland simulcast race that day with an official “off time” of 4:45 p.m. (ET) or later. The contest winner is determined by who selects the highest-priced winner on Sunday. If two or more players tie for the highest price winner, they will split half the pool with the other half carried over to the following week. If no player completes the five stages successfully, $1,000 will be carried over to the following week. Players must be 18 years old or older to play. Keeneland, Turf Catering and United Tote employees are ineligible to participate. Only one entry per person is allowed (duplicate entries will be disqualified). Keeneland’s contest coordinator will settle all disputes. Winners will be required to sign proper IRS forms. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. on the second floor grandstand by Elevator C.
