A Largo company has won a contract to provide food service, laundry and warehouse design, and solid waste services for the Baha Mar Resort, Casino and Spa Destination in Nassau, Bahamas.
Theodore Barber & Co. Inc. will be consulting on the $2 billion project that will cover 1,000 acres at Cable Beach. It will have a Caesars Hotel and Casino, as well as a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course.
Baha Mar Phase I is scheduled to open in early 2011.
Barber & Co. also provided food service design for the recently opened Sheraton Hotel at Cable Beach and for the Wyndham Hotel, both adjacent to the Baha Mar project. It also completed the design and furnished the equipment for the current central laundry to support the Sheraton, Wyndham and Cable Beach Resorts. |
