This made me giggle so I thought I'd share ;) I found it on, http://www.authorized-online-casinos.com

Jimmy L. Vance, a developer from Corbin, Kentucky, recently filed a lawsuit against the Caesars riverboat casino in Indiana. According to Vance's clam, he was intoxicated when he accepted $75,000 in credit from the casino and then managed to lose it all in one night. Vance was reported as saying that the casino staff had continued serving him drinks even though he had been completely drunk.

The legal action between Vance and the casino began last year when the gaming boat sued Vance for failing to repay the $75,000. Nevertheless, Vance decided to fire back and filed a counterclaim, which argued that he was visibly drunk that night at the casino, and was intentionally tempted by the casino employees to take several credit advances. Therefore, according to Vance, he should not be held responsible for the losses.

In response to Vance's accusations, Caesars’ lawyer Gregory Taylor wrote that the developer was not the first losing gambler that wanted his money back. Since the beginning of 2005, the floating casino boat has filed almost identical suits against 17 individuals from different states. Caesars received repayment or judgments in most of the cases, while others are still pending.

Think I could sue Hersheys, and Trojan, and .. who makes Tequila.. I may have a suit there too..

Problem with accuracy in our casino directory? let us know, please: accuracy@worldcasinodirectory.com

Totally ridiculous. Hell I didn't even know casinos still extended credit. You must have to be a high-roller in order for that to be happening. Most casinos I'm in want you out the door when you run out of funds.

Definely have been cut-OFF in a casino... never encouraged or given credit... I MUST be in the wrong casinos... perhaps a visit to Caesars is in order.

Let me get this straight. The casino held him down and forced him to drink, beat him to a pulp and made him take $75,000 then wanted their money back.

Come on, lets take responsibility for ourselves every once in a while.

I agree that it was probably not the best idea for the Casino to extend so much credit to a man with a "buzz", lol, but hey, people drink in casinos...it's what they do!
Well we do seem to be a society of "blamers" these days. Our motto should be "I was not responsible because <insert lame excuse here>". I agree that the man MUST have been a high roller to get that much credit, otherwise the casino did something so stupid that they almost deserve to lose the money. Boy that would be a fun court case to sit in on, wouldn't it?
