Lottery news from http://www.int.iol.co.za/

Two McDonald's staff who won £1,3-million on the lottery have vowed to keep working.

Luke Pittard, 23, said: "Like the slogan says, 'we're loving it'."

He and girlfriend Emma Cox, 28, say they celebrated their win with a Big Mac.

The couple - who live with Emma's parents in Cardiff - plan to buy their own home and live there with their daughter Chloe, who is two years old.

According to The Sun, Emma said: "I found a money spider and knew I'd be lucky."

So does this mean there is a difference between what I am assuming is UK winners since the winnings was listed in pounds vs. US winners? Because I can almost guarantee you that anyone in the US who was working for McDonalds and won the lottery would quit the minute they found out. Of course, they might be broke within a year.

It seems a lot of lottery winners end up miserable and losing all their money. Hopefully these guys can stretch their winnings out and live a happy life.
