Police are trying to catch a man responsible for a series of follow-home robberies targeting gamblers at the Normandie Casino in Gardena.
Investigators already have arrested one suspect but are looking for another man photographed by a surveillance camera.
The first robbery occurred June 23 when two men followed a Normandie Casino patron home to Orange County and robbed him at gunpoint.
An Encino resident was followed home June 30 and robbed at 2:50 a.m. Another patron was robbed July 7 in Venice, and a casino patron was held up July 12 in Tarzana, police said.
Orange County sheriff's detectives arrested John Henry Bolton, 23, on July 14 after he was identified from the casino's surveillance footage that also photographed his 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix.
At Bolton's home, detectives found the black-hooded sweat shirts used in the robberies and a victim's stolen cellular telephone taken during one holdup, police said.
But detectives are still looking for a second suspect.
He is black, more than 6 feet tall and weighs more than 200 pounds. He has a shaved head, a mustache and goatee.
Police have not recovered the suspects' blue semiautomatic handgun.
Police warned people leaving casinos and banks to watch for suspicious activity.
"If you think you are being followed, don't go home, but drive to a nearby police or fire station," Los Angeles police Lt. Paul Vernon said.
"Persons traveling alone are more at risk as suspects may see them as an easier target."
