Mark Your Calendars! Popular Breakfast With the Works Program Begins Saturday, October 6
September 17, 2007
One of Keeneland’s most popular fall and spring programs is Breakfast With the Works, where fans can come out early on Saturday mornings during the race meet to enjoy a hot buffet breakfast while watching the morning workouts.
“Breakfast With the Works appeals to a wide range of people,” said Keeneland’s Market Development Administrator Fran Taylor, “We find that families really enjoy the atmosphere because it is a fun way to spend time together in this all-too-hectic world. It also is a great place for people to bring their out-of-town guests so they can show them a very real and unique central Kentucky experience.”
Casual fans can learn more about racing by listening to the informative trackside commentary that explains how Thoroughbreds are trained, as well as interviews with horsemen and racing officials.
* A hot buffet breakfast is served in the first-floor, trackside Equestrian Dining Room from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m., for just $5 per person. (children three years and younger eat free). Reservations are not needed and are not taken.
