If you've bought a lottery ticket in Saint Johns this year, clean out your car and check your pockets, you could be the winner of a six-digit prize. People at Beck's Farm Market in Saint Johns are asking, who's got the golden ticket?
Some lucky person bough a winning Fantasy Five ticket there a year ago. It's worth a hundred grand.
Wade Johnson, customer: "Everyone that comes in here, we tell them, you know, check your numbers."
But so far, no one has stepped up. Wade Johnson goes to Beck's every month to play lottery. He was happy to hear that there was an unclaimed prize.
Wade Johnson: "I don't always check, so there's a good possibility, I better check my glove compartment."
The winner will get over $78,000 if they cash in the ticket, but time is ticking. The ticket expires at 4:45pm on Monday. The employees believe the winner is someone who stopped for gas on their way up north and lost track of the ticket, and if the winner doesn't show up, they says it's OK, they've still fun wondering what if.
Wade Johnson: "We're a little place, we don't get too much excitement around here, it's been big news." |
