Seven months into the year, Argosy and Grand Victoria casinos have seen their winnings or total lost wagers by gamblers rise from last year, while Belterra saw its winnings decline slightly.
Year-to-date winnings are up 5 percent at Argosy to $279.5 million; up 2.6 percent to $91.5 million at Grand Victoria; and down 0.7 percent to $94.4 million at Belterra. Winnings statewide are up 4.7 percent to $1.5 billion.
For the month, Belterra’s July winnings were down 10.5 percent to $14.3 million; up 2.7 percent at Grand Victoria to $14.4 million; and up 0.1 percent to $41.6 million at Argosy. Statewide, winnings were down 0.7 percent to $221.2 million.
