Hmm, OK, I'm confused.
I just signed up here today, and played some of the casino games for awhile, trying to boost my points up. As I posted in another thread earlier in this forum, I was doing pretty well playing that Nitro slot game, and got my points up to over 600, when I decided to quit playing for awhile.

Well, I just now went back to play some more, and it says I have ONE point. Well, zero now, actually, 'cause I played that one away in one spin.

I assume that's not the way it was supposed to work... something went wrong, obviously.
So now I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me what I should do now, and hoping that those points aren't really gone. Is there some way to tell that I had those 600 points somehow and put them back? It should all be clearly visible in the records, right...??? I hope so.

Anyone know what happened?

How strange, I noticed it's also not added any points for having made the above post, or for replying to other posts... maybe it's just my browser not showing the correct total or something.
I left it open all that time when I was idle earlier today; think that may have something to do with it? Even though when I came back, I logged out and logged back in again just in case, so I wouldn't think so, but who knows. Maybe I'll just try rebooting and see what happens...

Welcome to the board. Indeed we have had some issues with NitroSlots, and its getting bigger because it seems to be a popular game. I am giving you some points here (I'll send you a PM).

Regarding the posting and getting points - there are some forums you don't get points in (the SPAM folder) and also your points only get awarded after 36 hours or so - this is so we can delete spam. For instance someone could run out of points and post meaningless messages to get more (so there is a lag time) It's all automated, so don't worry, your points are safe. For now on NitroBurst I am going to be talking to the programmer tonight to see what can be done.

I am going to replicate the problem myself right now. I really want to see it happen because I love the game.

Hi, thanks for checking into it for me. I'll check for your message in my PM's then. And yeah, after I posted that, I did read about the delay built in to the points-for-posts system, so I understand that part. But there must be some problem with the slot machine, like you said, that's somehow behind the problem of the disappearing points! My boyfriend signed up after I did, and basically the same thing happened to him just now. He was down to about 30 points though, when it went down to zero on its own. His username is ornerybrat, if u need that to help u assess the problem.

Funny how the Nitro Slot went from making points disappear to making you almost a point zillionaire for a little while there, huh?

Guess it's found a happy medium now... moderation is the key and all that... but extremes can be a lot of fun sometimes too! Maybe you can throw in an "extreme" day every now and then just to keep it interesting.
