Okay, I'm a supporter of internet gambling, but not from work. How stupid is that? Especially right now. I don't think anyone has the right to tell you what you can do in your own home with your own computer (with obvious exceptions of anything involving minors), but your computer at work should only be used for work. I don't even think it's right when people use their work computer to play solitaire or minesweeper. |

I know it is stupid, but he was doing it after hours. I know, I know, he was still using their resources, blah, blah, blah. But I've known plenty of people who used the computer both during office hours and after office hours for personal stuff, including playing games. And I worked in the IT industry! |

Even if he had lost, that was not his intention. He was hoping to win, therefore he was still using it for personal gain. |
