NGA/HOOTERS TOUR COMES BACK TO MISSISSIPPI IN 2006

CHOCTAW, Miss.(July 21, 2006) - The National Golf Associations Hooters Professional Golf Tour, presented by Hooters of America and Naturally Fresh Foods, comes back to Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Choctaw, Mississippi August 7-13, 2006 for The Pearl River Resort Golf Classic.
"We are very excited to bring the Hooters Tour back to Choctaw and Pearl River Resort," said NGA Hooters Tour President Robin L. Waters. "They have a first class golf course and I expect it to be another first class event again this year."
Dancing Rabbit consistently rates as one of the best courses in the country. Golf Magazine rates The Azaleas course at number 34 on their list of the top 100 public courses.
"To be the host course for the only NGA/Hooters Tour event in Mississippi for the second year is very exciting for us," explained Pearl River Resort President Chuck Miller. "The Pearl River Resort Golf Classic will be another opportunity to showcase Pearl River Resort and our nationally renowned, award-winning Azaleas and Oaks courses at Dancing Rabbit to the entire southeastern market."
Mark Powell, director of golf for Pearl River Resort, explained that the Dancing Rabbit course associates were looking forward to the event.

Monday Aug. 7, kicks off the opening qualifying round for those interested in trying to qualify for the tour. There will be a Junior Clinic held Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 4:30 for all local youth wanting to learn the fundamentals of golf.
