Versions of his hit songs have been performed by the likes of Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, and many musicians have reached the top of the music charts with songs written by Sedaka. Some of his classic hits include "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do," "Calendar Girl," and "Laughter In The Rain." After five decades he has a prominent distinction in the music business, gaining a whole new generation of fans when he guest judged on American Idol.
