New Tower Opens December 20 at The Signature at MGM Grand

The Signature at MGM Grand announced today the December 20 unveiling of the second of three 576-suite hotel towers. Tower 2 will provide new amenities and more of the special ambiance that defines The Signature’s style.
A first-of-its-kind hotel concept in Las Vegas, The Signature at MGM Grand’s non-gaming, non-smoking environment focuses on personalized service. Guests of each tower will enjoy separate lobbies, check-in facilities, business centers and pool complexes. Tower 1 also offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, retail shopping, lobby lounge and Starbucks.
Tower 2 will add a delicatessen, delights at The Signature, featuring handcrafted sandwiches, salads, soups and contemporary pasta dishes as well as homemade pastries and gelato – all using the finest seasonal ingredients. This delectable deli, opening in January 2007, will offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Available for in-house dining or carryout, the eatery will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for breakfast and lunch. In addition, business travelers will appreciate the convienence of two 800-square-foot meeting rooms and a 350-square-foot executive boardroom.
Each tower’s lobby has its own distinct design and Tower 2’s look will be characterized by an approach that is dynamic and fun. The sleek, refined design will combine modern elements with hip, urban innovation. Dark mahogany woodwork paired with rich hues of burgundy and cognac will create a welcoming setting while unique Danish furnishings and accents will add a playful flair. A stunning wall display behind the registration desk will use vivid, plum-colored leaves suspended in a soft glowing light to enhance the dramatic décor.
Design elements within the spacious, well-appointed junior, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites are the same for all three towers. Plush fabrics, custom furnishings and a palette of rich reds, dark espressos and bright coppers create a sense of warmth, comfort and quiet escape. The Signature at MGM Grand also features private balconies that command stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding mountain landscape.
