Nicaragua Dancing Cuban Casino
Managua, Jul 6 (Prensa Latina) Cuban casino dancing is increasing in popularity in Nicaragua after a sale of a DVD edited on the Caribbean Island, explaining learning techniques of steps and turns.
The record, entitled "Dancing Casino is Very Easy," is promoted in the Central American nation nowadays by brothers Jorge and Juan Gomez director and ex member, respectively, of Moncada's musical group.
Several dancing academies of this capital have created "Casino schools."
Jorge Gomez explained to Prensa Latina that the project began two years ago with a video of 36 lessons and interviews with founders of this style created in half a century ago at Havana Sport Casino Center.
The DVD also has a Cuban music movie history and a video clip by Moncada with the song "Rueda de Casino" which is part of the famous group' s last record.
Because of the warm reception Moncada will have a tour concert through Nicaragua by the end of this month, announced Gomez.
The Central American country could compete with Italy where Casino has become special through the creation of 200 dancing schools, said the musician. |
