Pa. casino adds local self-service software
PORTSMOUTH -- NextChoice, a self-service software provider to the restaurant and grocery industries, recently deployed its Smart Self-Service software at the new Mohegan Sun At Pocono Downs in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Customers at the recently opened 400,000-square-foot casino now order and pay for meals themselves from three different restaurants in the Food Court.
Michael Welts, president and chief executive officer of NextChoice, said this is the "largest casino intelligent self-service deployment system" yet. He said the system will enhance service and reduce lines for customers while Mohegan Sun At Pocono Downs will realize increased sales, reduced operational costs as well as create the opportunity for more targeted customer marketing.
"Mohegan Sun At Pocono Downs has adopted some of the casino industry's most technologically advanced solutions and used this technology to make our customers' experience more enjoyable," said Bill Candow, information technology vice president of the casino. |
