Pamela Anderson to replace Carmen Electra in Vegas magic show

Pamela Anderson will replace Carmen Electra as special guest star in Hans Klok's new show, "The Beauty of Magic," at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Electra said last week she would be with the show for three months.

Publicists had hailed it as her stage debut in Las Vegas and promised "sultry surprises." But producers say Electra pulled out before the magic show's opening for scheduling reasons.

In announcing her special guest appearance, Pamela Anderson popped out of an apparently empty box at the crowded Extra lounge at the former Aladdin casino-hotel.

She says her dream of becoming a Vegas showgirl is coming true. The grand opening of "Hans Klok: The Beauty of Magic" is on June 2nd.


Carmen Electra has backed out of an engagement to be a special guest star in magician Hans Klok's new show at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

The former Aladdin resort on the Las Vegas Strip is set to announce the new guest star tomorrow and explain Electra's sudden departure from the show.

Electra said at a press conference last week she would be with the show for three months.
