BISMARCK, N.D. - A person who bought a Powerball ticket at a Lisbon grocery store won $600,000 - the second-largest lottery prize in North Dakota history.
The attorney general's office said Thursday that the winner in the June 14 drawing does not want to be identified.
After taxes were taken out, the player got a check for $416,760.
The largest prize in state history is $1 million, won last March in the Powerball by Williston forklift operator Kevin Green. After taxes were taken out, he got $694,600.
The North Dakota Lottery began selling Powerball tickets on March 25, 2004.
