Phil Ivey, born in 1976 in New Jersey and currently resides with his wife Las Vegas. In the late 90's this salesman turned to cards for a living.

Phil is known as the Tiger Woods of poker to some and won his first WSOP title at the age of 23. Two years later in 2002, he tied a record by winning three WSOP titles in a year. He has won two Bellagio tournaments, one WPO, two Commerce tournaments, and has made many WPT final tables.

In 2005, Phil had two more WPT final tables, a second place finish in the WSOP Circuit Event at Harrah's Lake Tahoe and won his fifth WSOP bracelet in the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament. Recently, he got a first-place finish at the Monte Carlo Millions tournament and first-place finish at "The FullTiltPoker.Net Invitational Live from Monte Carlo."

In January 2006, he was named Player of the Year by All In Magazine, Bluff Magazine, and the UK Gaming Awards. Currently Phil is a member of team Full Tilt.

I like his poker demeanor. Seems to never get ruffled, always aggressive and always seems to be lurking at end of tournaments ready to make a move.

Have you seen the Full Tilt commercial with Phil Ivey? You can only view it online because it was a bit risque (Phil catches another guy with his wife), but it was a hoot! Says he has the ultimate poker face!
